Bogdan’s theoretical background covers both the legal and economic fields, having graduated from several educational establishments: Bucharest Bar Association – title of permanent lawyer, Bucharest Bar Association – title of trainee lawyer, Academy of Economic Sciences – graduate postgraduate course specializing in accounting, University of Bucharest, Faculty of Law – graduate, Spiru Haret University, Faculty of Philosophy and Journalism – graduate.

Bogdan’s professional expertise in the legal field, accumulated in over 24 years of practice, covers both complex litigation before national courts, arbitral tribunals and other jurisdictional bodies, as well as advising numerous national and international companies and individuals.

 

In the area of civil law, the trials concerned all the fundamental institutions of this branch of law: actions for claims, actions for a declaration of the absolute nullity of legal acts, actions for the dismantling of unlawfully built constructions, actions for the establishment and exercise of the right of easement, actions for the dissolution of contracts, trials concerning the debate on inheritance and the division of property, while the consultancy activity concerned: the negotiation and conclusion of contracts, the adaptation of contractual clauses, the verification of the legal situation of property, the formulation of legal opinions on the transaction of property, etc.

 

In the area of commercial law, the lawsuits concerned both intra-company relations and business relations between various national and international companies: actions for the annulment of AGM resolutions, actions for the exclusion of a partner from a company, actions for the authorisation of a partner’s withdrawal, actions for the dissolution of companies, actions for the liability of the administrator for damages caused to the company, while the consultancy activity concerned: negotiation and drafting of corporate documents, advice in the procedure for the takeover of companies, consultancy and completion of merger/division procedures, debt recovery, etc.

 

In insolvency matters, the lawsuits concerned all the legal remedies established by insolvency law: opening insolvency proceedings, contesting the opening of insolvency proceedings, registering creditors on the creditors’ list, removing certain creditors from the creditors’ list, annulling fraudulent acts, protecting the members of the administrative bodies from actions concerning their liability, assisting the participants in the bankruptcy proceedings, advising the general meeting of creditors, etc.
